Translation glossary: names and special words
The glossary keeps names, places and special words the same across the whole book. The machine builds it while reading the book and shows the words it has doubts about at the top.
- Open “Glossary”. Entries marked “⚠ The model’s doubt” come first: here the model offers options and explains what makes the word hard.
- Select an entry — its “Entry” card opens on the right: translation, forms, explanation. Pick an option with one click or type in your own translation. The “In the text” tab shows where the word appears in the book.
- Above the list are filters: doubts only, words added while translating chapters, or your edits. Search finds an entry by word. Duplicate entries and a name translated inconsistently can be handed to the “Assistant” tab.
- Click Approve the glossary — the machine builds the translation passport and guide. The glossary stays alive: chapters add new entries, and your edits apply at once, even after approval.
- In a chapter, Ctrl+click on a glossary word opens its entry. If you change a word’s translation after chapters are already translated, the card shows “Translated the old way”: click Retranslate these blocks or Leave.
